SEI Communications, operating as a member-owned telephone cooperative since 1953, provides local exchange telephone service as an ILEC in portions of Dearborn, Jefferson, Jennings, Ohio, Ripley, and Switzerland counties in southeastern Indiana. It serves rural residential and small business customers with voice, DSL, fiber (up to 1 Gbps), and fixed wireless internet, supplemented by CLEC operations elsewhere in Indiana. As a small rural telco, it partners with Southeastern Indiana REMC on the SEI Fiber network for broadband expansion.
